- Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents Hummingbird Container Garden on Zoom – Learn how to make your own hummingbird feeder in an online demonstration, with supplies provided in advance. There will be a class from 1pm to 2:30pm and a class from 3pm to 4:30pm. $65 for non-members; $40 for members. Times vary.
- Art Opening at Red Dwarf HTX featuring Higham and Associates | FREE – Head to Midtown for Red Dwarf HTX’s inaugural art opening curated by Higham and Associates featuring light bites, drinks, and more. Face masks are required. 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
- Underbelly Hospitality presents Mastering Spices with Chris Shepherd & Lior Lev Sercarz on Zoom | Saturday, September 19 – Chef Chris Shepherd hosts seasoning expert Lior Lev Sercarz, one of the country’s most sought-after spice aficionados, for an online class where they’ll cook Mediterranean dishes using some of Lior’s favorite spices. Tickets are $150 per couple and include a five-piece spice set from La Boîte, Lior’s spice shop. 6:30pm to 8pm.
- Houston Dynamo vs. Minnesota United FC: Live from BBVA Stadium on QuestTEXAS Channel 55 – Watch as the Houston Dynamo take to the field to battle it out against Ike Opara, Ozzie Alonzo and the rest of Minnesota United FC, live from BBVA Stadium on QuestTEXAS channel 55. 7pm.
- Get Out Movie Screening at The Best Little Drive-In in HTX at Raven Tower – Catch a live screening of the Academy Award-winning film that follows Chris, a young African-American man who uncovers a disturbing secret when he meets the family of his white girlfriend. The drive-in pop-up is now located at Raven Tower, with room for more cars. $​30 per vehicle. 7:15pm and 10pm.
- Letsdothishouston presents Queens of Hip-Hop Night Light Bike Ride – Take an evening ride around the city on light-up LED bikes while vibing to an all-female, hip-hop playlist curated by DJ Savage901. Tickets are $10.50; $26.50 to rent a bike. 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
- Double Vision: Tribute to Foreigner in Concert at Rockefeller’s Houston – Rock out to hits from the ’70s and ’80s by British–American classic rock band, Foreigner, when tribute band Double Vision performs live at Rockefeller’s Houston. $15. 8pm to 11pm.
