Witness the creation of a beach-side mural with live music, prize giveaways and more, broadcast from Stewart Beach on Galveston Island’s Facebook page on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Local artist Gabriel Prusmack takes to Stewart Beach to paint an interactive mural for all to see, based on the importance of the 2020 Census and the need for a complete count.

Featuring live music, a total of $1000 in prize giveaways awarded every 15 minutes, surprise guest appearances and more, this virtual beach day is the very first to be broadcast from Galveston Island.

The event is free to watch on Galveston Island’s Facebook page.
