Get gift cards and pass it on to essential workers with the Sugar Land Sweet Cash Program when you snag a gift card from a Sugar Land local business, while supplies last.

This year has been tough on many of our favorite local restaurants, retailers and service shops. These small businesses have faced unprecedented economic uncertainty while continuing to look for ways to forge ahead.

To help relieve a little of this pressure burdening businesses, the Sugar Land Sweet Cash Program offers a unique opportunity for you to support your favorite Sugar Land spots, while snagging gift cards to more local businesses and helping front-line essential workers receive relief, too.

Here’s how it works:

  • Buy a gift card – Stop by any beloved Sugar Land business and purchase a gift card ($40 minimum).
  • Get a gift card – Send over a copy of the gift card purchase receipt using an online form and receive a “thank you” gift card from participating businesses (worth approximately 50% of your original gift card purchase).
  • Give a gift card – The Sugar Land Sweet Cash Program will pay your gift card purchase forward by sending an additional gift card to a front-line worker or organization.

The more money you spend on the original gift card, the more gift cards you’ll receive in return, plus more front-line workers will receive their own gift cards. For example, if you spend $80 on a gift card, you’ll receive two $20 gift cards from participating businesses while two front-line workers will each receive their own $20 gift card.

Do you have a front-line worker in mind? You can also nominate a worker to receive a gift card through the Sugar Land Sweet Cash Program when you submit your proof of purchase.
