Browse the newest works by Houston artist Robert L. Straight in person as Archway Gallery opens its doors each weekend in June through Sunday, June 28, 2020.

This exhibition from Robert L. Straight showcases his proficiency in many media, including glass, wood, and different metal processes such as welding, forging and casting. Some works may include as many as four different materials and processes.

Many of the pieces featured in Fusion 2 were inspired by Straight’s recent trip to Africa. The bright yellows, reds, and blues are an homage to Africa. And, the celestial theme seen in several of the pieces was fostered by the incredible African night sky.

Schedule Personal Viewings

Private showings can be arranged in advance for groups of 9 people or fewer. If interested in seeing the exhibition in person, please contact the gallery in advance to arrange a private tour.

The show closes on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at noon. Email the gallery at info@archwaygallery.com for details or to schedule a private viewing.
