  • Scout Aviation Merit Badge at Lone Star Flight Museum Earn your Scout Aviation Merit Badge during this three-hour workshop at the The Lone Star Flight Museum. The hands-on learning experience will demonstrate the fundamentals of flight, aircraft design, model building, preflight inspection, and piloting with flight simulators. Tickets are $30. 9am to noon.
  • Midtown Valentine’s Market at Baldwin Park | No Cover Feel the love when Midtown Houston hosts their sweet Valentine’s Day Market at Elizabeth Baldwin Park. The pop-up market will feature a hand-picked selection of quality crafts and arts as well as plenty of local vendors selling unique Valentine’s Day gifts. 10am to 2pm.
  • Beers, Art & Love: Valentines Bash at Saint Arnold Brewing Co. | No Cover Shop for your loved ones with this Valentines-themed market of artwork, vintage goods, jewelry, body products and more at Saint Arnold Brewery. You can enjoy a card crafting station, craft beer, and old-school tunes throughout the day. 11am to 4pm.
  • 14th Annual Rory Miggins Irish Music Festival & Stew Cook-Off at Lucky’s Pub Cheer on a lineup of teams as they cook up a variety of Irish dishes in the 14th annual Rory Miggins Irish Music Festival & Stew Cook-Off at Lucky’s Pub. Competition categories include Irish coffee, Irish dessert, open Irish dish, chicken, Irish stew, chili, and best booth. Tickets for guests to sample the variety of cuisine are available for a $10 entry fee at the door; children under 12 are free. Noon to 6pm.
  • Lunch With an Astronaut at Space Center Houston Have lunch alongside a real-life NASA astronaut every weekend at Space Center Houston. Tickets are $35.95 for children ages 4 to 11; $69.95 for adults. Noon.
  • Marvel VS. DC Pub Crawl at Henke & Pillot Dress up as your favorite superhero for the Marvel vs. CD Pub Crawl, which kicks off at Henke & Pillot in Downtown. You’ll get a koozie, cup, access to drink specials, and a wristband with admission, or you can upgrade to get a T-shirt and keychain as well. Tickets start at $10. 3pm to 9pm.
  • ROCO In Concert: Beauty is in the Eye at The Church of St. John the Divine Head to the Church of St. John the Divine for ROCO’s “Beauty is in the Eye” concert. The performance features a new concerto by Kevin Lau that’s performed by Andy Lin and conducted by Christopher Rountree. Tickets are $35 for adults; $25 for seniors; $15 for students. 5pm.
  • UFC 247 at Toyota Center Jon Jones goes up against Dominick “The Devastator” Reyes in the UFC 247 at Toyota Center in Downtown. You’ll also catch flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defending her crown against Katlyn Chookagian, plus Houston’s own Derrick Lewis welcoming Ilir Latifi to the heavyweight division. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 5:15pm.
  • A Whole New World at MATCH Sunrise International Dance Company presents their dance recital, “A Whole New World,” inspired by Disney’s Aladdin, Frozen, and Snow Queen, as well as Moiseyev Dance Company & Cirque du Soleil. Dance styles include Russian lyrical, traditional Ukrainian folk dance, Hungarian, tap and flamenco dances, as well as gymnastics movements. Tickets cost $45 for adults; $25 for ages 3 to 15. 6pm to 8pm.
  • Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour at Smart Financial Centre – Grab your gal pals for the “Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour” at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land. “Bravolebrity” Nene Leakes will host the show, which features comics Adele Givens, Loni Love, Sherri Shepherd, Kym Whitley, and B Simone. Tickets start at $49.50, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7:30pm.
  • Grace Potter in Concert at House of Blues – Formerly the frontwoman of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actress Grace Potter brings her solo tour to Houston’s House of Blues.
