  • 7th Annual Trill Comedy Festival at Station Theater | Daily Catch or all of nine performances featuring the best local and national improv, stand-up, musical, and sketch comedy from more than 100 performers. Showtimes vary.
  • Original Greek Festival at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral | Daily Shout “Opa!” while chowing down on authentic Greek cuisine, watching traditional music and dance performances, and shopping from a variety of vendors at The Original Greek Festival at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Tickets are $5 at the gate; kids 12 and under are admitted free. Everyone is admitted free on Friday from 11am to 3pm. Times vary
  • Halloween Haunted House at National Museum of Funeral History | Daily – Get into the Halloween spirit at the National Museum of Funeral History’s family-friendly Haunted House. The annual haunted house is rated PG-13 and is recommended for age 12 and up. Age 11 and under are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Haunted house admission is $5 for adults; $3 for children 11 and under; tickets are half-price when purchased with museum admission. Times vary.
  • Karbachtoberfest 2019 at Karbach Brewery | Daily | No Cover Gulp down Karbach brews, listen to live music from local musicians, and embrace the spirit of Karbachtoberfest throughout the brewery’s three-week celebration. Additional attractions include stein-hoisting competitions, oompah bands, wiener dog races, and German-inspired food. Times vary.
  • Every Brilliant Thing at Main Street Theater | Daily Discover the effects that a single event can have on a person’s life in this one-woman show, starring Shannon Emerick and directed by Rebecca Udden. Tickets start at $15. Showtimes vary.
  • 40th Annual Festival Chicano at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday to Saturday | FREE Immerse yourself in a cultural celebration of all things Chicano music, featuring sub-genres ranging from Tejano and Conjunto to Mariachi and Orchestra, when Miller Outdoor Theatre hosts the 39th Annual Festival Chicano. 7pm daily.
  • Keep It Brassy 3 at Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday – Tap your feet to a slew of classics from iconic bands, such as Chicago, Billy Joel, and Ray Charles, at this musical cabaret presented by Music Box Theatre. As the name suggests, the house band will be backed by a three-piece horn section for extra, brassy flair. Tickets are $31 for general admission; $41 for reserved seating, but limited discounted $15.50 general admission tickets are available for select shows. 7:30pm both nights.
  • King’s Oktoberfest 2019 at Kings Biergarten & Restaurant | Friday to Sunday – King’s annual Oktoberfest celebration returns to Pearland with more live German music, more biers, more brats, and more fun. Festivities include adult carnival games, food, arm wrestling and strongman competitions, and plenty of German biers. Options to turn your weekend into a staycation with special rates on hotels around Pearland are available. Tickets range from $12 to $30. Times vary.
  • Final call for vendors for Bellaire Arts & Crafts Festival at Evelyn’s Park | Friday to Sunday – Register now to become a vendor for Bellaire’s Arts & Crafts Festival at Evelyn’s Park. Just in time for the holidays, the festival happening on Saturday, November 9, welcomes vendors and exhibitors to showcase and sell original art, artisan wares, and custom-made goods. The deadline is Sunday, October 6. Rental fees range from $125 to $150 per space. All day.
  • Opera in the Heights presents Tosca at Lambert Hall | Saturday and Sunday – Take a seat for Opera in the Heights’ production of Puccini’s legendary tragedy, Tosca, at Lambert Hall on Heights Boulevard. They’ll perform the opera in Italian, supplemented with English subtitles. Tickets start at $39. Discounts are available for full-time students, ages 16 and under, and ages 65 and up. Showtimes vary.
  • Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion at Pearland Town Center | Saturday and Sunday | FREE – Admire the works of regional artists during the annual Pearland Arts & Crafts festival at Pearland Town Center. Presented by the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, the craft fair offers plenty of shopping, live music, and art-centric activities. 10am to 5pm both days.
