Spend Sunday afternoon at the free Theater District Open House—filled with performances, meet-and-greets, musical entertainment, backstage experiences, and family fun—on Sunday, August 25, 2019. 

The TC Energy Theater District Open House is an annual festival for avid theatergoers and newcomers of all ages.

For over 25 years, the daytime event previews what’s ahead in the upcoming season with free behind-the-scenes experiences, show previews, interactive activities, and special ticket offers.

Catch a sneak preview of the 2019-2020 season and enjoy an afternoon of fun with a creative movement mini class with the Houston Ballet Academy, a free Houston Symphony performance, live jazz music with Da Camera, makeup and costume demonstrations from Magpies & Peacocks, and much more.

The kiddos can get in on the fun by stopping by the Houston Symphony’s instrument petting zoo, meeting characters from Houston Ballet’s The Nutcracker, and checking out interactive art experiences by Young Audiences of Houston.
