Donate to help Kids’ Meals reach their goal of feeding 400,000 children throughout the Greater Houston area by August 31, 2019.

Presented by McDonald’s Houston, Hunger Free Summer is a summer-long initiative from Kids’ Meals to feed preschool-aged children and their older siblings facing food insecurity in the Greater Houston area.

Kids’ Meals delivers 3,100 healthy meals a day to children ages 5 and younger in Harris County, which has the second highest rate of child food insecurity in the nation. In the summer months of June, July, and August, Kids’ Meals nearly doubles its capacity to serve every child in the home, up to age 18, who doesn’t have access to free school meals.

Additionally, companies and community members are invited to participate in the annual Juice Box Challenge by donating 100% juice boxes to help Kids’ Meals reach its goal of providing a juice box with every meal delivered this summer. Juice boxes can be dropped off at Kids’ Meals (330 Garden Oaks Blvd.) Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.
