- The Doyle & Debbie Show at Stages Repertory Theatre | Daily – Take a seat for Stages Repertory Theatre’s production of The Doyle and Debbie Show, which follows the story of two singers seeking renewed fame and fortune. Full price tickets start at $20, but limited discounted $40 tickets are available at $20. Showtimes vary.
- Dunamis Revival Fire Conference at Smart Financial Centre | Thursday and Friday | FREE – Join Pastor Paul Enenche and his wife, Becky Enenche, for two nights of worship at the Dunamis Revival Fire Conference, presented by the Dunamis International Gospel Center, one of the leading Christian Churches in Africa. 6pm to 11pm both nights.
- Feelin’ Groovy 5 at The Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday – Groove to songs from the ‘60s and ‘70s with covers of Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones and more at Music Box Theatre. Tickets start at $31.50, but limited discounted $15.50 tickets are available for select shows. 7:30pm both nights.
- Halo Outpost Discovery at George R. Brown Convention Center | Friday to Sunday – Prepare for battle as you enter the beloved science fiction universe of Halo during this three-day, interactive experience. - 45th Annual Vintage Glass & Antique Show & Sale | Friday to Sunday – Browse high-quality vintage and antique glass from 30 of the country’s top dealers and collectors at the 45th annual Vintage Glass & Antique Show & Sale. Food will be available for purchase on site. Admission to the show is $10 at the door on Friday; $6 on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is good all weekend. Times vary.
- Sugar Land Skeeters vs. New Britain Bees at Constellation Field | Friday to Sunday – Get loud for the Sugar Land Skeeters as they take on the New Britain Bees at Constellation Field. Tickets start at $8. Times vary.
- PBR: Unleash the Beast at Fertitta Center | Saturday and Sunday – Buck up for this thrilling, two-day invitational, where 35 professional bull riders compete in one of the most dangerous sports in the world. Hosted at the University of Houston’s Fertitta Center, the competition will determine which riders advance to the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas. Tickets start at $20, but you may find better or cheaper seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. Times vary.

- 9th Annual Journey Through China at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Experience an authentic Chinese dance performance when Dance of Asian America returns to Miller Outdoor Theatre for the 9th annual production of Journey Through China. The show explores the culture, traditions, and dances of several ethnic groups throughout China. 11am.
- Blanket Bingo at Market Square Park – Lounge out on lawn chairs or blankets while enjoying a historic night out filled with music, fun, and bingo. Admission includes a packet of bingo cards, which are good for about ten games. $10. 6pm to 9pm.
- All About That Bubbly at Houston Zoo – Pop champagne at the Houston Zoo when it opens its doors after hours for All About That Bubbly, an evening event with a live ice carving show, a photo booth, giant lawn games, and the opportunity to see exotic animals up-close. Tickets are $35. 6pm to 10pm.
- Bollywood & Bhangra Dancing Class at Levy Park | FREE – Work your entire body while dancing to the powerful beats of Bollywood music at this free Bhangra dance class in Levy Park. 7pm to 8pm.
- Rock the Row at Hughes Landing | FREE – Bring your blankets and lawn chairs out to Hughes Landing in The Woodlands for an evening of live music. This event is part of the Rock the Row free concert series. 7pm to 9pm.
- Movies on the Lawn: Disney’s Zootopia Movie Screening at First Colony Mall | FREE – Treat the kiddos to a Thursday night movie on The Lawn at First Colony Mall, where this week you can catch a screening of Disney’s Zootopia. 7pm to 9:30pm.
- The EaDo Comedy Show at CSz Arena – For this improv show, ComedySportz Houston will draw from the vibe of the East Downtown neighborhood and call on audience members to participate. $10; limited comped and discounted $5 tickets available. 8pm.

- Sunrise Yoga at The Water Works – Start your day with a 45-minute sunrise yoga session at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. Instructors from Big Power Yoga will lead the class, which is open to newbies and experienced yogis alike. There is a suggested donation of $10. 6:30am to 7:15am
- Bubbles and Baubles Reception at HMNS – Step out for a swanky evening of champagne and caviar during the Bubbles and Baubles event in the McFerrin Fabergé Collection at HMNS. Throughout the evening, you can browse more than 600 pieces of Fabergé artistry, meet with chefs participating in Saturday’s Around the World in 10,000 Bites event, and sample some of their featured dishes. Tickets are $250. 6pm to 9pm.
- Friday Night Live at Evelyn’s Park | No Cover – Spend Friday night enjoying live music from local artists, food, drinks, and fun every week at Evelyn’s Park. 6:30pm to 10pm.
- Murder Mystery Dinner at Haak Winery – Get into character and crack the case at this Murder Mystery Dinner presented by Haak Winery. A buffet dinner is included with admission. $65. 7pm to 9pm.
- Jeremy McQueen’s Black Iris Project at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Experience a free performance of Jeremy McQueen’s award-winning choreography during the Black Iris Project, which features classical and contemporary ballet and celebrates Black history. Included in the show is the world premiere of The Storm, a new ballet that was inspired by the Middle Passage, Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Harvey. 8:30pm to 11:30pm.
- Classic Numbers: Every Friday at Numbers Nightclub – Travel back to the ’80s with hits from The Smiths, The Cure, Blondie and more every Friday night at the always-eclectic Numbers Nightclub in Montrose. 9pm.
