  • Painting Cats with Cats at El Gato Coffeehouse Cat Cafe Let your creative juices flow and pay homage to your four-legged companion when El Gato Coffeehouse Cat Cafe hosts this monthly painting party. As the name suggests, participants will paint a portrait of their own cats while surrounded by coffee house cats. Tickets are $41.14. 11am to 12:45pm.
  • Wanderlust Market in Shady Acres | No Cover Browse an entire market of international foods, textiles, and artisan products that represent a variety of cultures from around the world at Wanderlust Market in Shady Acres. 11am to 4pm.
  • Colombian Fest 2019 in Downtown Celebrate Colombian independence at Texas’ biggest celebration of its kind, boasting authentic art and food, as well as a business exposition, children’s games and more. Featured artists include Jean Carlos Centeno, the Dominican Republic’s Hector Acosta “El Torito,” and local talent from right here in Houston. Tickets start at $15. 11am to 10pm.
  • Author Daniel Silva at Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center – Hear from the New York Times best-selling author, Daniel Silva, as he reads selected excerpts from his latest thriller, The New Girl, at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center. Tickets include a copy of the page-turning novel. $33. 7pm.
  • The Try Guys at Revention Music Center Crackup at a comedic show by The Try Guys, who bring their first nationwide tour, “Legends Of The Internet” to Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $36, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site7:30pm.
  • Selena Movie Screening at Rooftop Cinema Club Kick back on the elegant rooftop of BLVD Place in Uptown, where Rooftop Cinema Club presents a screening of Selena this Sunday night. While enjoying the show, you can sip cocktails and nosh on Good Dog eats available for purchase. Tickets start at $17. 8:30pm.
