- Disney’s Aladdin at the Hobby Center | Daily – Rub the magic lamp and fulfill your wish to see the beloved Disney classic, Aladdin, come to life in a family-friendly, musical production at Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. - The Escape Game Houston at CityCentre | Daily – Exciting, immersive, and fun, the Escape Game Houston lets you and your friends escape prison, find lost gold, take part in a heist, save the day and more. Teams (up to eight) have 60 minutes to uncover clues, crack codes, solve puzzles, complete their mission, and bond. Reservations are required. Times vary.
- Feelin’ Groovy 5 at The Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday – Groove to songs from the ‘60s and ‘70s with covers of Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones and more at Music Box Theatre. Tickets start at $31.50, but limited discounted $15.50 tickets are available for select shows. 7:30pm both nights.
- Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play the Angels in a home game at Minute Maid Park. Tickets start at $15, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Times vary.
- The Catastrophic Theatre presents Speeding Motorcycle at MATCH | Friday to Sunday – Catch a performance of Catastrophic Theatre’s recurring crowd favorite, Speeding Motorcycle, which tells the story of Joe the Boxer, a man who is driven mad when his true love marries an undertaker. Tickets are pay what you can, ranging from $5 to $75. $40 is the suggested price. Showtimes vary.
- Love & Make’s Candle Making Workshop in Rice Village | Friday to Sunday – Design and create a personalized wax candle with help from the team at Love & Makes in Rice Village. The BYOB workshop also features handmade goods from local artisans to shop while your candles set. $45. Times vary.
- Houston Symphony: Music of Queen at Jones Hall | Saturday and Sunday – Sing along to unforgettable hits like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions,” and “Somebody to Love” when the Houston Symphony, along with a vocalist and full rock band, performs a concert of music by Queen. Tickets start at $30, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7:30pm both days.

- TXU Energy Wings of Freedom 5K/10K and Family Fun Run at Karbach Brewery – Take your mark and get set to run the TXU Energy Wings of Freedom 5K, 10K, or Family Fun Run that kicks off at Karbach Brewery. The dog-friendly race benefits the Be An Angel foundation and offers a Karbach pint glass to the first 100 registrants. Tickets start at $20. 7:30am.
- Pat Green in Concert: 4th Fest at Valley Ranch – Join your friends and family at Valley Ranch for a festive celebration of our country’s independence. Fourth Fest will feature a country music concert headlined by the Grammy award-winning artist, Pat Green, as well as a BBQ cook-off, fireworks show, cirque acts, and family-friendly activities. Tickets are $25; kids under 12 get in free. 2pm to 10pm.
- Freedom Over Texas at Eleanor Tinsley Park – Ooh and ahh at a dazzling fireworks display and listen to a full lineup of live music as CITGO presents Freedom Over Texas in Eleanor Tinsley Park. Tickets are $8 in advance until Wednesday, July 3, $10 at the gate; children 5 and under are free with paid adult. 4pm to 10pm.
- July 4th Music and Fireworks Spectacular at Karbach Brewing Co – Bust out your red, white and blue for Karbach Brewery’s annual Independence Day celebration, complete with a concert by Cheap Trick, local food trucks, fireworks, and plenty of craft beer. Tickets start at $28. 6pm to 10pm.
- 4th of July Red, Hot, & Blue Festival at Multiple Locations in The Woodlands | FREE – All throughout The Woodlands, various parks will host Fourth of July celebrations with face painting, strolling entertainers, food vendors, live music, inflatables, kids activities, fireworks and more. 6pm to 10pm.
- July 4th Backyard Cookout at B.B. Lemon – Feast on an All-American cookout courtesy of B.B. Lemon, who will serve up burgers, hot dogs, watermelon salad, strawberry shortcake and more this Fourth of July. You’ll also find live music by the Buck Yeager Band, yard games, and food and drink specials. Dinners are $29.76 and reservations are recommended. 6pm to 10:30pm.
- 180th City of Galveston Independence Day Celebration, Parade & Fireworks | FREE – Cheer from the sidewalk as floats, decorated military vehicles, and performers parade down Seawall Boulevard in Galveston Island’s 180th annual Fourth of July celebration. Following the parade, marvel at a 20-minute firework show set over the Gulf of Mexico. 7pm to 9:35pm.
- Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular at CityCentre | FREE – Kick back and enjoy an evening of live music and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day at CityCentre. 7pm to 11pm.
- Bubbles and Fireworks Boat Ride at Allen’s Landing – Steer clear of the crowds and head to Allen’s Landing, where you’ll set out for a unique Fourth of July experience of champagne, light snacks, and views of the illuminated sky. $100. 8pm to 10pm.
- ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights: Star Spangled Salute at Miller Outdoor Theater | FREE – Pay tribute to the home of the brave with the annual Star Spangled Banner Salute, a patriotic concert by the Houston Symphony, at Miller Outdoor Theater. Following the show, stick around for a dazzling fireworks display. 8:30pm.

- HBD America(N Idiot): Tribute to Green Day at House of Blues – Jam out to the music of Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts when a lineup of tribute bands performs at House of Blues’ HBD America (N Idiot) concert.
