  • Open Studio: Text Portraits at CAMH | FREE Stroll through the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston to view various excerpts from handwritten notes, stickers, and magazines that together create a portrait inspired by the Stonewall 50 exhibition. 3pm to 4pm.
  • Business & Baseball: Professional Networking After Hours at Revelry on Richmond | No Cover with RSVP – Network over baseball and drinks at a business mixer inside the Loop, host by Sam Ali of Mankse Wealth Management. Bring plenty of business cards and be sure to be there at 7pm for the door prize drawing. 6pm to 8pm.
  • Blanket Bingo at Market Square ParkLounge out on lawn chairs or blankets while enjoying a historic night out filled with music, fun, and bingo. Admission includes a packet of bingo cards, which are good for about ten games. $10. 6 pm to 9pm.
  • West African Fest at Finca Tres Robles Immerse yourself in an evening of West African drumming, dancing, food and more, as Finca Tres Robles hosts a fundraiser in support of GambiaRising, a scholarship program focused on girls’ education in The Gambia. Donation suggested. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Lone Star Soirée at Houston Zoo Check out native Texan species like the American alligator, screech owl, and whooping crane—all featured in the Houston Zoo’s latest exhibit, Kathrine G. McGovern Texas Wetlands—during the celebratory Lone Star Soirée. The evening event will feature tacos, a margarita bar, music from a DJ, customized leather bracelets, a live ice-carving display, a photobooth, dance lessons, and yard games. $35. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Sleuths & Secrets Mystery Night at Houston Museum of Natural Science Gather evidence, untangle a web of riddles and clues, then crack the case at the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s interactive event, Sleuths & Secrets Mystery Night. $30. 6:30pm.
  • Thursday Concerts: Carrie Rodriguez & Laboratorio at Discovery Green | FREE Jam out to a free concert by the Austin-based bilingual singer-songwriter and fiddle player, Carrie Rodriguez, who performs as part of Discovery Green’s Thursday Concerts series. 7pm to 9:30pm.
  • Official Pride Fashion Show: Rock the Runway at Naylor Street Sharespace | FREE Scope out the latest styles in ladies evening wear during Pride Houston’s annual, fashion-forward event, Rock the Runway, at Naylor Street Sharespace. VIP reception from 7pm to 8pm; doors open at 8pm.
  • CSz presents The EaDo Comedy ShowFor this improv show, ComedySportz Houston will draw from the vibe of the East Downtown neighborhood and call on audience members to participate. $10; limited comped and discounted $5 tickets available. 8pm.
  • Million Dollar Duet: Cash vs. Elvis Tribute Show at House of Blues | FREE if you RSVP early  Enjoy the music of rock legends Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash when two tribute bands perform back-to-back sets at House of Blues. Tickets are free if you RSVP before 5pm on Wednesday, June 19; otherwise they’re $15. If you miss the completely free RSVP tickets, then you can also opt to only pay the ticketing fee. 8pm.
