Feast your eyes on captivating, acclaimed films from Latin America at the 14th Annual Latin Wave Film Festival at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, from Thursday, May 2, through Sunday, May 5, 2019.
Returning for its 14th year, the Latin Wave Film Festival, presented by MFAH, hosts a catalog of films that reflect Latin America’s vibrant and acclaimed contemporary cinema landscape. In addition to the screenings, Latin Wave also provides the opportunity for audience members to engage with attending, internationally acclaimed filmmakers during post-film discussions.
This year’s robust lineup features the latest releases from many of Latin America’s talented filmmakers, including Alonso Ruizpalacios’ Museo, Cristina Gallego’s and Ciro Guerra’s Birds of Passage (Pájaros de verano), and Alfonso Cuarón’s Academy Award-winning Roma, among others.
