Witness a sensational coming-of-age tale with director Tim Disney and his film, William, at the opening night of the 52nd annual WorldFest-Houston international independent film festival at Cinemark Memorial City on Friday, April 5, 2019.

To open the 52nd Annual WorldFest-Houston, Director Tim Disney will be on-hand to present his remarkable film, William, and attend the Opening Night Champagne After Party following the premiere.

An audacious coming-of-age story, the film revolves around the life of a Neanderthal named William, who is cloned from ancient DNA by two doctors who fall in love and raise him as their own. His distinctive features and uniqueness set him apart from the surrounding world as he tries to assert his own identity and grow.

His fourth feature-length film, Tim Disney (who is also the nephew of Hollywood pioneer Walt Disney) continues his extensive film career that includes multiple producing and writing credits for short films, environmentally and socially-conscious documentaries, and full-length films since 1988.

Opening Night Champagne After Party

Disney will attend the after party, held at The Westin Houston, Memorial City hotel, where guests can celebrate the opening of the 52nd Annual WorldFest-Houston while mingling with many of the festival’s filmmakers and fans.

Tickets to the Opening Night Premiere are $20 for the film only or $30 for the premiere and admission to the Champagne afterparty. VIP Platinum Passes for the full 10-day festival are $1000. Click here to order tickets or for more information.
