Unwind at a laid-back eatery serving barbecued organic meats, inventive cocktails and microbrew beers at Beaver’s West.

Located on Westheimer near Fountain View in Uptown, the eclectic eatery is known for its smoked meats, creative veggies, playful craft cocktails, and selection of Texas Craft Beer.

The expansive space can accommodate more than 250 guests in its setting is reminiscent of a hunting lodge with tree trunk designs running through the main dining room.

Folks can dine on unforgettable eats like the “Beaver’s queso” and the “meatless Nut Burger” or try new fare that places a greater emphasis on Gulf seafood and barbecue including, Beaver Tails (shrimp stuffed with jalapenos and cheese), barbecue oysters lashed with garlic butter and citrus-flavored pico, grilled ribeye steak, and of course, barbecue.

If you need something to sip, try creative cocktails like the North to South Old Fashioned which features Buffalo Trace bourbon, maple, mole bitters, orange, and cherry. If you need something more adventurous, try the Spiced Fig Old Fashioned made with Bulleit Bourbon and fig jam or the Bourbon Berry Cobbler which comes chock-full of Four Roses Bourbon, blackberries, raspberries, orange bitters, and mint.

After you grab your food and drinks be sure to check out fun new features including, the Beaver Den, an adults-only whiskey bar; a special events space called the Barn; and a courtyard patio with a fire pit and trailer outfitted as a service bar.
