  • Bayou Bikers Ride at Market Square Park | FREE – Join Bayou Bikers for a 25 to 40 mile ride along the bayous. Meet at Market Square Park. 8am.
  • Chinese New Year Celebration at Lucky Land | No Cover – Welcome the year of the pig with a lion dance, dragon parade, Kung Fu shows, and a costume contest during the family-friendly Chinese New Year Celebration at Lucky Land. 10am to 6pm.
  • Super Beef Sunday at Saint Arnold Brew Co Feast on loads of delicious barbecue at Saint Arnold’s sixth annual Super Beef Sunday, where the legendary Louie Mueller Barbecue will join Eddie O’s Texas Barbecue and Eaker Barbecue to serve up their finest smoked meats. You can snag a commemorative Super Beef Sunday pint glass, and pre-wrapped whole brisket and beef ribs will be available for pre-purchase. $50. 11am to 2pm.
  • Yoga First Sundays at Children’s Museum of Houston Start your Sunday with a relaxing yoga session beside your little ones at the Children’s Museum’s brand new series. You’ll work on balance and practice stretches, poses, and breathing exercises throughout the 30-minute class. Included with $12 admission to the museum. 2:30pm.
  • Super Bowl Tailgate & Viewing Party at Capitol Bar Watch the big game amongst other football fans at the Super Bowl Tailgate and Viewing Party at Capitol Bar Midtown. Enjoy a happy hour along with tacos and burgers while watching the game on a dozen large TV’s as well as two massive projection screens. No cover before 7pm. 4pm to 2am.
  • Houston Chamber Choir presents I Could Write a Book at Ballroom at Bayou Place Experience an afternoon of jazz when the Houston Chamber Choir presents I Could Write a Book at the Ballroom at Bayou Place. Featuring the Grammy-award winning vocalist and one of the founding members of New York Voices, Kim Nazarian, you’ll hear jazz favorites with Nazarian and the professional men and women singers who make up the Houston Chamber Choir. $40. 4pm to 6pm.
  • Kinetic Ensemble presents American Spaces at MATCHCatch a concert by Houston’s own innovative classical group, Kinetic, as they join the award-winning quintet, Windsync, for the American Spaces concert at MATCH. Tickets are $25 for general admission; $15 with student ID. 6pm.
  • Jersey Boys at The Grand 1894 Opera HouseSee the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical, Jersey Boys, when the touring cast performs at Galveston’s The Grand 1894 Opera House. Tickets start at $38. 7pm.
  • Super Bowl Watch Parties Around HoustonMunch on your favorite snacks, crack open a few cold ones, and get ready to watch the biggest game (and best commercials) of the year at one of many Super Bowl watch parties happening around town. Prices, times, and locations vary.
