Keep your new year momentum going with an epic day of kid-centric activities at MATCH Family Fun Day 2019 in Midtown on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
After three successful years of operation, Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston (MATCH) springs into 2019 with its fourth annual day of family-friendly fun.
Taking advantage of all MATCH facilities, MATCH Family Fun Day will be packed with activities for kids and adults alike in the heart of Midtown.
Kid-Friendly Events & Activities
MATCH will fill its multiple spaces with numerous activities and entertainment for a fun-filled afternoon for the entire family.
Head indoors and grab a seat for kid-friendly musical concerts by Prelude Music, dance performances of Alice by Open Dance Project, and Schoolhouse Rock Live from Main Street Theater.
Throughout the day, there will also be face painters, balloon artists, stilt walkers, a chalk artist, and three bounce houses.
And if you’re in need of a bite to eat, Lemond Kitchen will be providing food for sale at the recently opened Café on Main Street.
As an added bonus this year, MATCH will be extending Family Fun Day until 5:30pm to ensure families get their fill of the festivities.

Located at 3400 Main Street in Midtown, MATCH is a unique multi-venue arts facility where Houston-area arts organizations can exhibit, rehearse, perform, educate, and office. It welcomes where audiences of all ages to enjoy an array of exhibits and performances.
