Bask in the glow of a bonfire, shop from local vendors, and relax on the ranch at the second annual, family-friendly The Bonfire Texas Music Festival at Blisswood Bed & Breakfast in Cat Spring on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

For the second time, the Texas-sized ranch at Blisswood Bed and Breakfast opens up for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and live music under a wide open sky, featuring Houston Rodeo Rockstar winner David Lewis; Jesse Raub, Jr.; Ken Gains; and Wayne Wilkerson.

Following I-10 West, just past Sealy, you’ll find the expansive ranch offering up wares from local vendors, an auction presenting prized items, and more festivities suitable for the young and young at heart.

This year’s festival has “Gone to the Dogs,” with The Bonfire Texas raising money for animal rescue programs Houston Pets Alive and All Border Collie Rescue, providing a great cause to celebrate with a night on the ranch.

Revelry on the Ranch

The Bonfire Texas Music Festival kicks off at 3pm when attendees can witness canine feats performed at the dog show, sheep herding with trainer Joy Hall, grab a seat on the hay rides, explore the ranch, and maybe find a new best friend at the dog adoption event.

Nearby, the vendor fair provides a chance to do a little shopping and browse items from cowhides to custom jewelry.

Guests can also make their bids on prized items on display at the live auction, featuring a guitar autographed by singer-songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard, a classic Houston Oilers jersey donning an Earl Campbell signature, jewelry, and more sought-after goods.

Food trucks and a wine and beer garden will be on-site to satisfy the needs of attendees.
