Experience the pure bliss of the geometric dancers taking flight in the Sky Dance mural.

Located in Downtown on Clay Street, between Louisiana and Milam Street, the larger-than-life Sky Dance features three multi-colored dancers captured in “mid-jeté en avant”, set on a backdrop of endless blue.

The creation of C. Finley (@iamfinley), the artist is known for her elaborate geometric paintings, skillful use of color, and her activism through street art.

Considered Houston’s largest mural to date, Finley’s mid-flight mural features Houston Ballet’s soloist Mónica Gómez, first soloist Nozomi Iijima, and first soloist Allison Miller, and is meant to evoke empowerment and joy.
