- Theater Under The Stars presents Oklahoma! at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts | Daily – Kick off TUTS’ 50th anniversary season while celebrating the 75th anniversary of Oklahoma! at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Together with the Houston Ballet, TUTS brings the Roger and Hammerstein classic to life through show-stopping dancing, acting, and musical numbers. - Violet at Queensbury Theatre | Daily – Follow a troubled woman who journeys across the country in search of hope and healing in Violet, the opening show of Queensbury Theatre’s 2018-2019 season. - Gabriel Iglesias at Toyota Center | Thursday and Friday – Be part of comedian Gabriel Iglesias’ newest Netflix comedy special, One Show Fits All, when he films his Houston show at Toyota Center. His second Netflix comedy special follows the 2016 feature, I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry. - Houston Ballet Presents An Evening of Stars at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday to Saturday | FREE – Watch a selection of stunning performances by Houston’s highest-ranking dancers at An Evening of Stars in Miller Outdoor Theatre, presented by the Houston Ballet. 8pm nightly.
- Fandemic Tour Houston 2018 at NRG Center | Friday to Sunday – See and hear from your favorite TV stars at Fandemic Houston 2018, the newest comic con to stop in the Bayou City. Celebrity guests include Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead, as well as Bruce Campbell, Paige, and Milo Ventimiglia of TV fame. Tickets start at $40. - Houston Astros vs. Arizona Diamondbacks at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play Arizona Diamondbacks in a home game at Minute Maid Park. - Southern Living Showcase: Beyond the Storm in Braes Heights | Saturday and Sunday – The Stone Acorn Builders host the 2018 Southern Living “Beyond the Storm” Showcase Home event, featuring daily chef, gardening, and interior design demos. Check out the 6,076-square-foot three-story open floor plan that includes five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a media room, a game room, and a dining room and breakfast area centered by a gourmet kitchen. $15. 1pm and 3pm each day.
- Love & Makes Candle-Making Workshop in Rice Village | Saturday and Sunday – Design and create a personalized wax candle with help from the team at Love & Makes in Rice Village. The BYOB workshop also features handmade goods from local artisans to shop while your candles set. $45. Times vary daily.
- Beyoncé & Jay-Z at NRG Stadium | Saturday and Sunday – Bow down to the ultimate power couple that is Beyoncé and Jay-Z as they join forces for the On The Run II tour in the Queen Bey’s hometown.
