- Houston Center for Photography Workshop at Levy Park | FREE – Learn the basics of photography every first and third Saturday of the month at Levy Park. In this workshop, participants will focus on camera obscura and cyanotypes. 9am to 10:30am.
- Top Gun 5 Charity Sand Volleyball Tournament at Wakefield Crowbar – Bump, set, and spike your way to victory at the annual Top Gun 5 Charity Sand Volleyball Tournament, which benefits Team Rubicon and USO Houston. Tickets start at $5. 9am to 5pm.
- Champagne and Yoga- Pawtriotic Party at Cottonwood – Sip champagne and strike a yoga pose while your pup cheers from the sidelines at Cottonwood’s Pawtriotic Party. All proceeds will go toward K-9 Angels Rescue. Tickets start at $12. 10am to noon.
- Texas Taco Mania at Bayou City Event Center – Chow down on tacos from more than a dozen local food trucks at Texas Taco Mania in Bayou City Event Center. Diners can partake in contests, win prizes, and enjoy live music throughout the day. Noon to 9pm.
- Saint Arnold Pub Crawl and Concert in Downtown Houston | No Cover – Make your way through 15 downtown bars during the annual Saint Arnold Pub Crawl, followed by a free concert from Mobley in Market Square Park. Those who stop by every bar will receive a commemorative pint glass after the crawl. 2pm to 7pm.
- Drink Local Art Market at Under the Radar Brewery | No Cover – Shop artwork from local vendors, sip craft beer, and hang out at Under the Radar Brewery’s Drink Local Art Market on the first Saturday of every month. 4pm.
- Majic 102.1 Summer Block Party at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Groove to the music of top R&B artists, including Miguel, Fantasia, Ne-Yo, and Tank, when Majic 102.1 throws a summer block party at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Tickets start at $59.50. 5pm.
- First Saturday Arts Market in The Heights | No Cover – Browse artwork and enjoy delicious bites and live music at the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights. 11am to 6pm.
- Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy at Jones Hall – Immerse yourself in the Houston Symphony’s multimedia experience featuring stirring musical compositions and video snippets from the Japanese video game, Final Fantasy. Tickets start at $35. 7:30pm.
- Got7 in Concert at NRG Arena – Catch an explosive concert from the internationally acclaimed South Korean boy band, Got7, when they bring their Eyes On You world tour to NRG Arena. Tickets start at $89. 8pm.
- The Wedding Singer Movie Screening at Bagby Park | FREE – Pack a picnic and head to Bagby Park for a free showing of the ‘90s romcom, The Wedding Singer, starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. 8pm.
- Wild Moccasins’ Look Together Album Release Show at White Oak Music Hall – Celebrate the release of Look Together, the latest album from Houston’s own Wild Moccasins, with an all all-ages show downstairs at White Oak Music Hall. Camera Cult and El Lago will open the show. $10. 8pm.
- Houston Dynamo vs. Minnesota United FC at BBVA Compass Stadium – Cheer on the Dynamo as they play Minnesota in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $24, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 8pm.
- Erykah Badu in Concert at Arena Theatre – Catch a live show from the Queen of neo soul, Erykah Badu, when the Grammy winner takes the stage at Arena Theatre. Tickets start at $79.50. 8:30pm.

- First Anniversary at King’s BierHaus | No Cover – Clink pints and shout “prost!” to celebrate the first anniversary of King’s BierHaus in the Heights. The German-style beer garden will offer food and drink specials throughout the day, along with live music and giveaways. 10am to 10pm.
- Vans Warped Tour at NRG Park – Jam out to a lineup of rock groups ranging from new talent to seasoned favorites when Vans Warped Tour returns to Houston. Headliners include Bowling for Soup, 3OH!3, Issues, and Reel Big Fish. Ticket prices vary. 11am.
- Houston Halal Food Truck Festival at the plaza adjacent to Smart Financial Centre | No Cover – Get your fix of halal street food at this local food truck festival. Eateries include El Guajillo Food Truck, Anna’s Gourmet Greek, Mundy’s Bar B Q & Grill. Falacos, Bowled Up, Smoothie Strong, Pho-jita, The Grove Donut Truck, and Churrasco Truck Halal. 11am to 7pm.
- 2nd Sundayz Market in Eado | No Cover – Browse this monthly, outdoor market located in East Downtown every second Sunday of the month. Featuring live music from Joe B & tha BBC, the market offers a variety of vintage finds and handmade goods. Noon to 6pm.
- StanceNation Car Show at NRG Center – Admire a variety of exotic cars as this touring international car show stops in Houston. Tickets start at $30. 1pm to 6pm.
- 4th Annual George Springer All-Star Bowling Benefit at Bolmor Houston – Bowl a strike and raise money for Camp SAY, a summer camp for children who stutter, at the fourth annual George Springer All-Star Bowling Benefit. Tickets include a cocktail hour, where you can mix and mingle with Astros player George Springer and his teammates. Tickets start at $300. 7pm.
- Sunday Movie Nights Moana Movie Screening at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier | FREE – Relax Sunday evening with a free outdoor movie screening of Disney’s animated film, Moana, at Pleasure Pier on Galveston Island. 8pm.
