Sip on cocktails and dance to the music of internationally renowned headliner Karsh Kale at MFAH Mixed Media on Friday, April 6, 2018. 

This high-energy Museum of Fine Arts, Houston event, which features exclusive access to Peacock in the Desert: The Royal Arts of Jodhpur, India, will be headlined by a musical performance from internationally renowned solo recording artist, producer, composer, live performer and DJ, Karsh Kale.

Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails inspired by the exhibition, participate in art-making activities, and enjoy Indian fusion cuisine from Food, Music, Life.

MFAH’s Mixed Media Musical Performances

A world-renowned tabla player, Kale has developed a reputation as a genre bending collaborator and musician, exploring the worlds of electronica, Indian classical music, rock, jazz fusion, and hip-hop.

Houston’s own DJ Sun and DJ Yogi-Gis, an all-style DJ from Houston who will be accompanied by percussionist Dave Sharma, will kick off the night spinning the latest club dance hits, old favorites from Bhangra/Bollywood and international music.
