- Houston Open at Golf Club of Houston | Daily – Watch as some of the biggest names in golf compete for the championship title in the annual Houston Open. Formerly the Shell Houston Open, the PGA tournament returns to the Golf Club of Houston for this rousing, week-long event. Tickets start at $35. 6:30am.
- Previews: Daisy at Main Street Theater | Thursday and Friday – Get a sneak peek of Main Street Theater’s newest production, Daisy, a play inspired by the infamous advertisement from the 1960s. Based on real people and events, Daisy explores the impact of the media and that unforgettable commercial now known as the origin of negative ad campaigns. 7:30pm both nights.
- The Exonerated at MATCH | Thursday and Friday – Experience a moving performance based on the true stories of six criminally convicted men and women wrongly sentenced to death in The Exonerated at MATCH. Tickets are $22 but you may find limited discounted tickets for $11. Showtimes vary.
- Comic & America’s Got Talent Finalist Taylor Williamson at Houston Improv | Thursday to Saturday | 2-for-1 Tickets – Catch the hilariously awkward and self-deprecating comedy of Taylor Williamson, performing five shows at the Improv. Tickets start at $17, but 365 Houston readers can score 2-for1 tickets on Thursday with promocode Taylor365 for Thursday’s show and promocode Taylords365 for Friday and Saturday shows. - Dance Salad Festival at the Hobby Center | Thursday to Saturday – Experience up to three evenings of modern dance performances by companies from around the world during Dance Salad Festival at the Hobby Center. The weekend-long festival, which began 26 years ago in Belgium, is now in its 23rd year in Houston and features a different collection of dances each night. Tickets start at $25. 7:30pm every night.
- TUTS presents Bright Star at the Hobby Center | Thursday to Saturday – Catch this new Broadway musical directed by Grammy-winners Steve Martin and Edie Brickell when the tour makes a two-week stop at Houston’s Hobby Center. Bright Star tells a tale of love and redemption set in the American South during the 1920s and 1940s. Tickets start at $30, but discounted tickets are available for select shows or you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale marketplace. Showtimes vary.
- Shrek the Musical at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday to Saturday – See your favorite humorous fairy tale, complete with a cynical ogre, feisty princess, and loud-mouthed donkey, performed live at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Unlike the movie, Shrek the Musical will feature all-new music and dancing for an entirely unique experience. 8pm.
- The Merry Wives of Windsor at Queensbury Theatre | Thursday to Saturday – Experience an all-female production of the Shakespearean comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor, when Boiling Point Players performs at Queensbury Theatre. In the play, Falstaff attempts to seduce two wealthy women of Windsor in hopes of stealing their fortune. However, the women quickly turn the tables on him, wreaking havoc throughout the city. Tickets are $20; limited discounted $10 tickets are available. 8:30pm every night.
- Easter Weekend at Kemah Boardwalk | Friday and Saturday – Decorate festive cookies, hunt for Easter eggs, and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny during Easter Weekend at Kemah Boardwalk. Prices and times vary.

Brown Convention Center. The massive, three-day event promotes Japanese culture through its showcase of panels, workshops, car shows, fashion shows, concerts, and contests. Tickets start at $75. - Easter Eggstravaganza at Blessington Farms | Saturday and Sunday – Bring the family for a festive day of Easter egg-hunting, strawberry-picking, hay rides and more at Blessington Farms’ Easter Eggstravaganza. After claiming candy and prizes from the hunt, kids can enjoy barrel trains, giant slides, and meet farm animals like chickens, goats, and camels. $20. 10am to 5pm.
