Lace up and run, walk, or roll your way into December at the eighth annual Trafigura Run for the House and directly support Ronald McDonald House Houston on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
With several runs/walks, Run for the House has options for welcome competitive runners, amateurs, wheelchair users, families, and even dogs.
Certified by USA Track & Field (USATF), the 5k/10k Run is a timed event for competitive runners and aspiring amateurs. But there’s also the 5K Family Walk, where kids and their pups can join Mogie, Ronald McDonald House’s dog, at the start line.
Afterwards, the family-friendly afterparty will entertain kids of all ages with games, food trucks, inflatables, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and more.
Runners can also use the opportunity to collect pledges and raise even more funds for Ronald McDonald House Houston. Race sponsor Trafigura will generously match all funds raised up to $300,000.
Registration fees includes entry into the race, a dri-fit event t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and entry to the afterparty.
Individual registration is only $35, while kids 7 and under and seniors 70 and older are free. Teams of four or more get a special group rate.
