In our Where to Happy Hour series, we search Houston’s vast array of neighborhoods for the very best libations.

A little over 20 miles north of Downtown, Spring mixes old town charm with a suburban feel, boasting quaint streets and shops, pick-your-own farms and fun attractions, and plenty of restaurants and bars at which to imbibe on the cheap.

Note: For the purposes of this list, Spring is defined as the area covered in this map, plus those surrounding neighborhoods that share the Spring address.

  • Envy Wine Room Hit up Wine Wednesday at this sip and shop wine bar in Old Town Spring. Each Wednesday, the boutique offers wine flights featuring new wines for just $5 (free for members).
