Welcome the World Series Champs back to Houston with festive floats, marching bands and more, at the Astros’ World Series Championship Win Parade in Downtown on Friday, November 3, 2017.

We earned history and Mayor Sylvester Turner invites all Houstonians to join him for the Astros World Championship Parade and Celebration this Friday at 2pm to honor the team’s historic 2017 World Series win.

In Mayor Turner’s words, “As we bounce back from Hurricane Harvey, we are more than ready to welcome our heroes home in proper form.”

Join thousands of your fellow Houstonians in painting the town orange and be sure to wear your Houston Astros gear, dress comfortably, and bring plenty of water.

Before You Visit: Closures, Parking & More

Parade-goers should note, that though the parade is free to enjoy at any point of the route, there is no bleacher seating available to the general public.

Visitors driving into Downtown should also be wary of closures and note that the parade staging area between Smith and I-45 underpass on outbound Allen Parkway will close to traffic at noon. Both Allen Parkway inbound at Taft as well as the McKinney exit off I-45 will close to traffic at 1pm. However, the Allen Parkway exit off I-45 South will remain open.

Due to Hurricane Harvey, many of the garages in Downtown are not available. Please consider taking the MetroRail or using PARK & RIDE for the celebration. There are two designated ADA accessible locations on the route at the intersection of Smith at Walker and at the intersection of Pease and Louisiana.

With street parking around the route closed, we ask that visitors please look for emergency no parking signs before parking, as cars will be towed for security purposes. Click here if you’re driving Downtown to locate a garage.
