Experience The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta with special performances by Miguel Migs, DJ Sun, and FXBOXolmos at MFAH Mixed Media on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Presented by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, guests to this evening event will be among the first to experience exclusive access to The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta, along with star-studded musical performances to help dance the night away.
This high-energy event will be headlined by legendary electronic music star Miguel Migs, best known for his albums Those Things, which was nominated for Best Dance Album in the Independent Music Awards, and Outside the Skyline, which debuted in the iTunes top 10 dance chart.
Based in Los Angeles, Migs is known for his deep house DJing, production work, musicianship, and founding Salted Music, an independent electronic dance music record label in San Francisco, California.
Exhibition Entertainment at MFAH Mixed Media
Houston’s own DJ Sun and FXBOXolmos are set to kick off the night with stellar sets.
DJ Sun, who will be curating the music selection for the evening, has worked as a recording artist and DJ for two decades and FXBOXolmos is an all-style DJ from Houston, mixing electronic dance, Latin, hip-hop, and both ’80s and ’70s tunes with a touch of world rhythms.
Guests can also enjoy bites from Mi Garita food truck as they sip on specialty cocktails inspired by the exhibition and enjoy the swanky, upbeat vibe.
Plus, you can even snap pics and show off your Oscar de la Renta-inspired threads at the complimentary Smilebooth. Be sure to use #mfahmixedmedia to follow the action on Twitter and Instagram.
