Sip on martinis and raise money for those affected by the hurricane at Front Runners Harvey Recovery Benefit at Guava Lamp on Friday, September 15, 2017.

An LGBTQ running club, FrontRunners is kicking things into high gear and hosting a Harvey Relief party where you can donate items and money while sipping on $5 martinis.

Set at the LGBTQ-friendly bar Guava Lamp in Montrose, folks can enjoy a refreshing $5 martini or carb up with a cold one while mingling with fellow LGBTQ+ runners, joggers, and walkers of Houston.

Those looking to donate items are asked to bring items (men’s shoes, dog food, diapers, blankets, men’s undergarments, etc.) to drop off at the donation bins at Guava Lamp which will be given to American Red Cross.

Donations and other revenue raised will be split and donated to the Montrose Center’s LGBTQ Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund and Mayor Turner’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
