Drop off your artwork displaced by Hurricane Harvey for temporary housing at Lawndale Art Center in the Museum District through Sunday, October 22, 2017.

The folks at Lawndale feel were very fortunate not to have been damaged during the hurricane, and the art center is trying to pay it forward by providing assistance not only to Houston artists but also to the artists and artist-centered organizations along the Gulf Coast region.

The staff and volunteers are prepared to receive artwork all September and most of October from Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm.

If you require special assistance and would like to make an appointment time to drop off your work or have any questions whatsoever, please email [email protected].

The celebration of the previously scheduled exhibition openings for Sterling Allen and Katherine Trimble on September 8th will now open on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 6pm to 9pm with artist talks taking place at 6pm.
