- Memorial Day Weekend Comedy Show at Grooves of Houston – Comedian Mario Tory will provide the laughs while Grooves of Houston provides 75 cent drinks, 5 dollar you-call-its, and half off appetizers. $15; limited discounted $7.50 tickets available. 7pm.
- Strolling Saturdays at Discovery Green | FREE – Gatsby-inspired musicians, living statues and more will be roaming around Avenida Houston at this weekend’s strolling Saturday. 7pm to 10pm.

- Luau at Southern Goods – Southern Goods will serve up a special menu of luau grub, including two whole roasted pigs, Hawaiian cocktails, and poke accompanied by live music. Noon to 8pm.

- Big, Bad Brunch Cooking Class at Central Market – Learn how to make Southern brunch staples like grits, black pepper buttermilk biscuits, and cornmeal madeleines while you sip on mimosas at this Central Market Cooking Class. $55. 11am to 2pm.
- Memorial Day Crawfish Boil at Max’s Wine Dive on Fairview – Max’s Wine Dive hosts a Memorial Day crawfish boil where you can enjoy a complimentary bottle of bubbles with a purchase of $15 of delicious mudbugs. Crawfish is $5 per pound and $20 for 5 pounds. 11am to 10pm.
