  • Modern Mexican Dinner Cooking Class at Central MarketLearn how to make dishes like seared duck breast with mango mole sauce, spiced Aztec chocolate lava cookies and more in this cooking class. 6:30pm to 9pm.
  • A Night of Translation at Brazos Bookstore | FREE – Listen in on a conversation between authors Mark Haber and Scott Esposito and the Spanish translators for their latest books, Efrén Ordóñez and Marco Alcalá as they discuss the value of literary translation at Brazos Bookstore. 7pm.
  • Shank’s Mare at Asia Society Texas CenterThis multi-media performance will use kuruma ningyo puppetry, video projection, and live music to tell the story of two travelers that cross paths with one another. Tickets start at $15. 8pm.
  • Rebirth Brass Band in Concert at The Heights TheaterKermit Ruffins will join Rebirth Brass Band for this concert that will transport the audience to New Orleans. Tickets start at $20, not including ticket fees. 8pm.
