  • Rice University Owls vs University Houston Cougars Baseball at Cougars Field | Tuesday, April 4 – These Houston universities will go head-to-head on the baseball diamond as the Owls play the Cougars at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park. Tickets start at $5. 6:30pm.
  • Houston Press Menu of Menus at Silver Street Station | Tuesday, April 4 – The annual Houston Press Menu of Menus showcases food and drink from around the city. Guests will enjoy cocktails, food samples, a chef throwdown, and live music during this event at Silver Street Station. Tickets start at $55, not including ticket fees. 7pm to 10pm.
  • Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets at Toyota Center | Wednesday, April 5 – Cheer loud for the Rockets when they hit the court to play the Nuggets at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7pm.
  • FeatherFest in Galveston | Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9 – Check out a raptor show, go on guided photography trips along the coast, tour the sea turtle facility, go bird watching via kayak and more at this weekend-long festival for bird lovers.   • Sugar Land Food & Wine Affair | Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9 – Nosh and sip your way through the many events of the annual weekend-long Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair. Tickets start at $65, not including ticket fees. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 3pm to 10pm; Saturday 10am to 6pm; Sunday 11am to 2pm.
  • Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals at Minute Maid Park | Friday, April 8 to Sunday, April 10 – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play the Astros in a three-game series at Minute Maid Park. There will be fireworks on Friday night and don’t forget about Jose Altuve Bobblehead night on Saturday. Tickets start at $15, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site.   • MCTX Festival in Missouri City | Saturday, April 8 | FREE to Attend – Enjoy tunes from a lineup of six artists, food from local restaurants, and art from vendors at this music festival in Missouri City. Noon to 9pm.
  • The Houston Art Car Parade in Downtown | Saturday, April 8 – Folks will line Allen Parkway for a front row seat at this year’s Houston Art Car Parade. More than 250 mobile works of art participate in the 30th annual parade put on by The Orange Show. Free to attend; VIP packages available. 2pm.
  • Brenner’s Wine Fest at Brenner’s on the Bayou | Saturday, April 8 – Sample vino from more than 10 wineries at an outdoor affair overlooking Buffalo Bayou. Guests will enjoy bites like mini lobster rolls, quail tacos, and pork belly tater tots prepared by some of the city’s best chefs. Tickets start at $75. 3pm to 6pm.
  • Ariana Grande in Concert at Toyota Center | Saturday, April 8 – Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour will storm through Houston for a Saturday night show at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $29.95, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7:30pm.
  • US Women’s Soccer vs Russia at BBVA Compass Stadium | Sunday, April 9 – Former Dash player Carli Lloyd will return to Houston along with Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath and current Dash members Jane Campbell, Morgan Brian, and Kealia Ohai to play the Russian women’s team in this game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $25, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 1pm.
  • Houston BBQ Fest at NRG Park | Sunday, April 9 – Stuff your face with unlimited ‘que from some of the best joints in Texas like Southside Market, Gatlin’s, Killen’s and more during this event at NRG Park. Tickets start at $50, not including ticket fees. 1pm to 4pm.
