Get to know fine, award-winning Houston wines at a guided Saturday afternoon tasting at The Nice Winery

Every Saturday afternoon at 2pm, Houston’s own Nice Winery hosts a guided tasting of its wines, made from grapes grown in Texas, California, and Argentina.

Guests will enjoy tastings of four of Nice’s award-winning wines, accompanied by instruction and complimented by a tasty cheese plate, surrounded by bottles in the winery’s lush, warm living room.

Saturday tastings are led at a communal table, offering guests the chance to meet and mingle over a few bottles.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling 713-744-7444.

Private tastings may also be scheduled for two or more people on weekdays between noon and 4pm.

About The Nice Winery

The Nice Winery was founded by Ryan Levy and Ian Eastveld, certified sommeliers, wine educators, and Le Cordon Bleu-trained chefs.

Their hand crafted, boutique wines are poured in top restaurants and have won gold medals in internationally recognized wine competitions, including their 2013 Notorious Mt. Veeder Malbec’s recent recognition as “Reserve Grand Champion Wine” at the 2017 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Annual “Rodeo Uncorked!” International Wine Competition. They make their wines from estate vineyards in Texas, Argentina, and California.
