- 5k Creepy Crawl at Pearland Town Center – Bring the whole family out to Pearland for this Halloween-themed 5k walk featuring trick-or-treating along the course, face painting and more. Costumes encouraged. $35. 7:30am.
- Park to Port Bike Ride at Hermann Park – Take part in the 20-mile bike ride from Hermann Park to the Port of Houston and back again with a party at the halfway point and at the end of the ride. $35. 8am.
- A Magic Carpet Ride Concert at Jones Hall – Join the Houston Symphony for an Aladdin themed concert of songs like “A Whole New World” and “A Friend Like Me” at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $22, not including ticket fees. 10am.
- Sleepy Hollow at McPhail Hall – Get into the spirit of Halloween with a spooky theatrical rendition of Washington Irving’s Sleepy Hollow, playing at McPhail Hall. $10; limited discounted $5 tickets available. 11am.

- Houston Dynamo vs. LA Galaxy at BBVA Compass Stadium – Cheer on the Dynamo as they play Los Angeles in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $24, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 4:15pm.
- Light the Night in The Woodlands – Support LLS during this two-mile walk beginning and ending at Market Street complete with face painting, food, and illuminated balloons. Registration is free, but fundraising is encouraged. 5pm.
- Viva Latin America at the Wortham Theater Center – Enjoy a concert honoring Hispanic heritage performed by the Houston Latin American Philharmonic orchestra at the Wortham. Tickets start at $25, not including ticket fees. 5pm.
- Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium – JJ Watt is out for the season, but that won’t stop the Texans from fighting for a win against Stratford High graduate Andrew Luck and the Colts during this Sunday Night Football matchup.
