Outdoor Events

Stroll between the walkable venues or opt for a trolley ride and enjoy pop-up performances along the way.

Kick off the event outside of Jones Hall where the Percussion One drumline and percussion group will be performing. Shortly after, the Mariachi program at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will play just outside of the Wortham Theater Center. You’ll enjoy live entertainment from the Houston-based jazz band Live Out Loud at Jones Plaza throughout the afternoon, plus surprise pop-up performances in the streets.

You can refuel at one of the many food trucks that will be stationed outside each of the venues and around Jones Plaza all day.

Indoor Events

Get a sneak peek into the upcoming season by attending a Q&A session with a performer, going on a backstage tour and seeing a performance. There will be tango lessons, as well as a mini workshop for area educators. Stick around for a concert by the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall or an onstage class and rehearsal by the Houston Ballet in the Cullen Theater – both taking place at 4pm.
