- Final Four 4 Miller at City Hall – Go for a 4-mile walk, jog or run during this family-friendly event through downtown Houston. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lone Star Veterans Association. Registration starts at $20. 8:30am.
- Zoo Yoga at the Houston Zoo – Bring your child aged from 4 to 10 years old to the Houston Zoo for a morning of yoga with animal-inspired poses. Tickets start at $8. 9:15am to 10:15am.
- Jazz & Blues Brunch at Crossroads at the House of Blues – Houston trumpeter and jazz musician Preston Smith hosts a succulent brunch buffet featuring traditional and Southern favorites. $21.99 for adults; $10.99 for 12 and under. 11am to 3pm.
- Pop-up Across the Park at Evelyn’s Park | FREE to attend – Peruse vendors selling food, jewelry, art and more during this farmer’s market style pop-up shop just across the street from Evelyn’s Park (due to construction). 11am to 3pm.
- First Saturday Arts Market in The Heights | FREE to attend – Browse artwork and enjoy delicious bites and live music at the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights. 11am to 6pm.
- DIY Nature Workshop at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center – Learn how to make botanical art by pressing and mounting wildflowers during this family friendly workshop. $20. 1pm to 3pm.
- Charity Crawfish Boil at Jax Bar and Grill – Nosh on mud bugs and wash ‘em down with beer during Jax’s Crawfish Boil. This event benefits Casa de Esperanza. $35. 1pm to 4pm.
- Fort Bend Symphony Children’s Concert at B F Terry High School in Rosenberg – Hear the work of Peter Schickele performed by children during this annual concert hosted by FBSO. Tickets start at $5. 2pm.
- Praia Urbana Music Festival at Last Concert Cafe – This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Praia Urbana Music Festival and they’re going big with performances from headliners Butch, Harvey McKay, Dosem, Mendo and Supernova as well as other local and international artists. Tickets start at $20. 2pm to 11pm.
- TWFG Muddy Trails in The Woodlands – Head to Rob Fleming Park for a 5k, 10k or 1-mile kids run followed by a post-race party with crawfish, Zydeco music and more. Registration starts at $30. 3pm to 8pm.
- Sunset Sip & Stroll Farmers Market in La Porte – Sip wine and enjoy music, food and art while strolling the Sunset Sip & Stroll farmer’s market at Five Points Plaza. 5pm to 8pm.
- Final 4 Watch Party & Free Pizza for a Year Raffle at Your Pie Houston | FREE to attend – Catch March Madness while satisfying your pizza cravings with a NCAA game viewing party and raffle that could have you eating for free at Your Pie Houston for an entire year. - She Works Flexible’s I’ve Only Known My Own Opening Reception at Flex Space Gallery – Get the first look at an exhibition of performance works from artists Nadège Grebmeier Forget, Ursula Johnson, Autumn Knight, Michelle Lacombe and Mikhel Proulx called I’ve Only Known My Own at She Works Flexible: Flex Space. 7pm to 10pm.

- Kite Festival at Hermann Park | FREE – Bring the kiddos, a picnic and your kite(s) to Hermann Park for a full day of kite flying. This annual festival includes face painting, crafts and entertainment for the whole family. 10am to 5pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. OKC Thunder at Toyota Center – Get loud for the Rockets as they take on Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Thunder at home. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 2:30pm.
- Let’s Dance: The Tour 2016 at House of Blues – Dance to the music as DJs Silento, iLoveMemphis, DLow, We Are Toonz, 99 Percent, Team NueEra, DJ Double J and Dance 411 hit the Houst of Blues stage as part of the Let’s Dance: The Tour. $35. 5pm.
- Pedal Punk at The Grand – Witness the traveling circus act Pedal Punk as they fly, twirl and dangle from unicycles and the Gantry Bike – all in front of a live audience at The Grand. Tickets start at $25. 4pm.
