- St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations Around Houston | Daily – Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at The Gorgeous Gael, McGonigel’s Mucky Duck, Watson’s House of Ales, Saint Arnold Brewery, Lucky’s Pub and more at these parties around Houston. Times and locations vary.
- Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Spring Street Studios | Daily – Watch as Stark Naked Theatre Company takes on a dramatic production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Spring Street. $29; limited discounted $14.50 tickets available. Thursday and Friday 7:30pm; Sunday 3pm.

- University of Houston Cougars Baseball vs. Grand Canyon at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park | Friday to Sunday – Watch as the Cougars take the field to play GCU in a three-game series at Cougar Field. - Houston Symphony presents Beethoven 9 & Bernstein at Jones Hall | Friday to Sunday – Enjoy a concert of works from Beethoven and Bernstein featuring 10-year-old soprano Dennis Xu with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $35. Times vary.
- Haute Wheels Food Truck Festival at HCC Southwest | Saturday and Sunday – Check out Houston area food trucks that specialize in everything from espresso to chicken tenders to Hawaiian food to PB&Js during this annual festival for food lovers. Tickets start at $16. Noon to 5pm both days.

- St. Patrick’s Day Blowout at The Gorgeous Gael – The party spills out into the parking lot for the big day, with live music, DJ tunes, dancing, Irish and pub grub, games, contests, giveaways, a special promotion from Bushmills and plenty o’ Irish shenanigans for St. Patrick’s Day itself. 11am to 2am.
- 9th Annual Saint Patrick’s Festival at Lucky’s Pubs in Downtown, The Heights and Cypress – Go all out at Lucky’s Pub (all locations) during their annual Saint Patrick’s Festival. Green beer will be flowing, bagpipers will be playing, 15 bands will perform and 4 DJs will bring the house down. Tickets start at $10. 6am to 2am at the Downtown location; 11am to 2am at the Cypress and Heights locations.
- St. Paddy’s Pubcrawl in Midtown – Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day as you hop from pub to pub visiting bars like Midtown Drinkery, Little Woodrow’s, The Dogwood and more. $10; limited comped and discounted $5 tickets available. 5pm to 2am.
- Bike Houston’s Third Thursday Hullabaloo: St Patty’s Day Celebration at Around the Corner | FREE to attend – Learn about BikeHouston and meet fellow cycling enthusiasts in a social setting during their monthly Hullabaloo. 6pm to 8pm.
- St. Patrick’s Day Party at Saint Arnold Brewery – Skip the green beer this year and go for craft brews at Saint Arnold instead. The brewery will be hosting a party with special keg tappings, a beard growing competition and Irish stew for those who get hungry. $28. 6pm to 9pm.

- Parachute Play Time at CityCentre | FREE – Gymboree Play & Music presents a big, play time activity for toddlers. 10am to noon.
- Pop Shop Houston presents Witch Craft Spring Art Market at Bohemeo’s | FREE – Create DIY seed bombs while enjoying live music, food and shopping during Pop Shop’s spring art market. 5pm to 10pm, followed by an afterparty to midnight.
- Afropolitan Houston at Kress Ultra Lounge | FREE with RSVP – The nation’s largest Afro-Caribbean mixer series continues its monthly Houston mixer at Kress Ultra Lounge, formerly known as Seven RiverOaks, with drinks, networking and dancing. The event is free for guests who RSVP and arrive before 7pm. Otherwise it’s $10. 6pm to 10pm.
