Sway to the indie-folk tunes of The Eastern Sea at Satellite Bar on Saturday, February 27, 2016.

Originally formed in 2005 as a bedroom recording project of singer and guitarist Matt Hines, the band now with two full length albums under their belt have transformed into something much more.

Hailing from Austin by way of Houston, TX Hines recruited a team of solid musicians in his friends during 2007 and has been developing his folk indie-rock sound on and off the road ever since.

Check out The Eastern Sea, take in EaDo’s newest venue, and enjoy an opening set of country sounds by Houston’s own Dollie Barnes.

Since a few of the boys grew up in Houston it is likely to be a feel-good set filled with songs written earlier in their decade-spanning career to appease familiar fans.
