Examine the plate and other household objects beyond their everyday utility with the At Your Service opening on view at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft between Friday, February 5 to Sunday, May 8, 2016.

View domestic ceramic-ware such as plates, utensils, and cups transformed into a creative medium rather than a utilitarian focus in HCCC’s latest exhibition.

Whether serving as the canvas for a large-scale painting, cast into three-dimensional sculptures, or transformed into willow patterned jewelry, see how these objects can be viewed as extensions of their owners in this free exhibition.
