Laissez les bon temps roulez at the return of the full-House Krewe du Blue Mardi Gras Bash at House of Blues in Downtown Houston on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 4pm to 2am.

Given its strong New Orlean origins, House of Blues is perfectly suited to throw a Mardi Gras party that’d be right at home in the French Quarter itself. Expect special drinks, dishes, music, beads, dancing and good times for all.

Bourbon Street Happy Hour & Pre-Party in Crossroads

Things kick off with New Orleans-themed happy hour in Crossroads at House of Blues, beginning at 4pm, joined by complimentary, toe-tapping tunes from the Zydeco Dots, starting at 6pm.

Live music is free at Crossroads.

Krewe du Blue Mardi Gras Bash in The Music Hall

New Orleans native, John “Papa” Gros headlines the night with a lively all-ages show in the Music Hall. As always, Gros will serve up a tasty gumbo of traditional funk infused with rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, blues, Americana and pop.

The Brass-a-holics open, bringing their own spirited mix of New Orleans brass combined with what members refer to as “go-go brass funk.”

Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm.

After Party in Foundation Room

The party continues upstairs, as DJ Solo spins tunes in the plush Foundation Room from 10pm to 2am. Access to Foundation Room will be complimentary for ages 21 and up. Drink specials will continue into the night.

Admission

Live music in Crossroads at House of Blues is free and open to all ages. Complimentary access into Foundation Room is available to guests 21 and up.

General admission tickets for the all ages Krewe du Blue Mardi Gras Bash show with John “Papa” Gros are $12 in advance and $15 day of show.
