Enjoy a historically enriching afternoon of family fun and entertainment with the MFAH’s Bayou Bend Family Day on Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Expect activities, music, demonstrations, performances, craft workshops, giveaways and more throughout the Museum of Fine Arts Houston owned home and gardens.

For January 2016, the museum highlights daily chores, jobs, and industries of America from the 1600s to 1800s. Enjoy tours of the first floor of the house, hosted by volunteers from Houston Junior Woman’s Club.

Visitors to Bayou Bend are encouraged to anticipate delays and traffic detours during the early part of this Family Day, and may wish to arrive at or after 1:30 to avoid any difficulties in accessing the grounds.

Although the event ends at 5pm, no one will be admitted after 4:30pm. Reservations aren’t needed. Just drop in to participate.
