Cheer the Houston Texans to victory when they face the New England Patriots at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, December 13, 2015.

The resurgent Texans rallied to win four consecutive games in November to bring their record from 2-5 to 6-5, placing them squarely in the thick of the playoff race. Their lone home game in the month of December is against the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots, led by future Hall of Famers in coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.

The game was originally scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. CST, but the Texans’ November hot streak prompted the NFL to “flex” the game into the coveted primetime slot on Sunday Night Football. It will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

As if the game needed any more gusto, the Patriots are the former team of Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel and linebackers coach Mike Vrabel, not to mention quarterback Brian Hoyer and nose tackle Vince Wilfork. Can O’Brien, the apprentice, outwit the master, Belichick?
