Journey into Kelli Scott Kelley’s fairytale world of Accalia with lecture, Psyche and Art in the Swamplands at the Jung Center on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

In her exhibition, Accalia and the Swamp Monster, Kelley tells the story of heroine Accalia and her dysfunctional family living in the magical Louisiana swamp. Kelley both metaphorically and literally paints a picture through storytelling of the personal growth that comes with expression.

Using Kelley’s fantastical words and images as a backdrop, The Jung Center will examine the healing power of storytelling with a lecture lead by Jungian analyst, Constance Romero.
