Raise a toast to Mark Rothko, in conjunction with MFAH’s Mark Rothko: A Retrospective Exhibit, at The Monarch in Hotel ZaZa.

Made with Gosling’s dark rum, Goya ginger beer and lime, the Monach’s new drink Untitled 5701 was designed as a companion piece for the Rothko exhibit next door at the Museum of Fine Arts. Houston.

Much like Rothko’s abstract work, the drink present layers of complimentary and contrasting colors with thin, soothing transitions.

If you want to embrace all things Rothko, Hotel ZaZa features an Arts & Smarts hotel package, which includes a night’s accommodations, tickets to the Rothko exhibit, valet parking and (of course) the signature drink. We recommend sipping this rum-filled beauty on the Terrace overlooking the Museum District.
