Hear the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra Brass Quintet blow at the Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston on Friday, October 9, 2015.

The highly lauded ROCO Brass Quintet will be kicking off the first of a three-part concert series at MATCH that will take you on an auditory journey through jazz standards and classical compositions including the works of Bernard Rand and Duke Ellington, amongst other musical heavy-weights.

Expect a high-energy performance when the ensemble, made up of George Chase and Jason Adams on trumpet, Gavin Reed on horn, Thomas Hulten on trombone, and Will Sampson on tuba, bring their modern take on classical music to the much-anticipated MATCH.

Only into their second weekend of concerts since opening their doors, the Mid-Main located MATCH will play host to the Brass Quintet, various River Oaks Chamber Orchestra groups, and many other notable Houston arts organizations throughout their 2015-16 season.
