Welcome summer with a special beer dinner at Kiran’s

Join Chef Kiran Verma and her resident beer guru Justin Byers for a special The Grains and The Hops Beer Dinner at Kiran’s on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 6:30pm

The four course meal is preceded by appetizers on arrival, including tempura-fried asparagus with vindaloo aioli and mushrooms stuffed with spinach and parmesan. Guests will be greeted with a beer cocktail featuring Buffalo Bayou’s Abrikoos.

The meal itself features a first course of fresh curry leaf-infused jumbo lump crab salad in a pappadam bowl paired with Saint Arnold’s Boiler Room. The second course is Tandoori cornish hen with fresh mangos and avocado, grilled zucchini, mushrooms and apricot biryani paired with Lagunitas IPA.

The third course entre is a Tandoor-roasted rack of lamb with chocolate demi-glace, garlic new potatoes with fenugreek and Kalonji naan, paired with Founders’ Dirty Bastard.

Finally, for dessert, guests will enjoy chocolate samosas with chai ice cream paired with Stone’s Chai-Spiced Russian Imperial Stout.
