Celebrate National Caribbean American Heritage Month at the annual Tropical Explosion Boat Ride aboard the Colonel Paddlewheeler on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 7pm to 11pm.

The St. Kitts-Nevis Association of Houston (SKNAH) and the Barbados Association of Greater Houston (BAGH) are throwing their fourth annual fundraising party in celebration of National Caribbean American Heritage Month.

Head to Galveston and board the Colonel Paddlewheeler – a replica of a 1800s paddlewheel boat – for dinner, dancing and Caribbean beats on the open water.

This adults-only party that falls on Father’s Day weekend includes three hours of cruising, Caribbean-infused cuisine, three cash bars serving top-shelf libations and raffle prizes. If you ask us, those sound like the makings of a great gift for Dad.

The boat features three decks for dancing and Multiple DJs will be playing the best in Calypso, R&B, Reggae, Soca and Salsa. But that’s not all, there will also be a live steel pan performance.

Cap the night off with a spectacular fireworks show over the water before heading back to dry land.
