- Holiday Shows in Houston | Daily – Celebrate the season with music, comedy and spectacle at these holiday-themed performances from talented local artists and nationally touring shows in 2014. Prices and times vary.
- A Magical Christmas 2014 Dinner & Show at Moody Gardens in Galveston | Wednesday to Saturday – Enjoy a buffet dinner and a show full of illusions and magic from Curt Miller at Moody Gardens. $55 to $85; $15 to $75 for children. 6:30pm nightly.
- Houston Ballet presents The Nutcracker at Wortham Theater Center | Wednesday; Friday to Sunday – Catch one of the season’s final performances of this holiday production, as Clara and the Nutcracker Prince fight the Mouse King, travel to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Tickets start at $55, but you may find cheaper or better tickets on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 2pm Wednesday; 2pm and 7:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- The Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Hobby Center | Wednesday; Friday to Sunday – Experience the Rockettes high kicks at The Radio City Christmas Spectacular performed at the Hobby Center this holiday season. Tickets start at $40, but you may find cheaper or better tickets on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Noon and 3:30pm Wednesday; noon, 3:30pm and 7:30pm Friday and Saturday; noon and 3:30pm Sunday.
- Disney Junior Live: Pirate and Princess Adventure at NRG Park | Friday and Saturday – Join the cast of Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Sofia the First for a live show at NRG Park. - Intimate Illusions at The Four Seasons Hotel | Friday and Saturday – Experience the magic behind Intimate Illusions starring illusionist Ivan Amodei at the Four Seasons. $65 to $75; limited discounted $25 to $32.50 tickets available. 4pm Friday; 2pm and 4pm Saturday.
- ComedySportz: Fast and Funny Improv Comedy Competition | Friday and Saturday – Get ready to laugh at ComedySportz, a competition style improv show. $18; limited discounted $9 tickets available. 8pm both nights.
- Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold at Stages Repertory Theatre | Friday to Sunday – Denise Fennell returns as Sister in this production where CSI meets Bethlehem in a hilarious musical history lesson. $19 to $40. 8pm Friday; 3pm and 8pm Saturday; 3pm and 7:30pm Sunday.

- Movie Night at Flying Saucer | FREE to attend – Sip on Sailing Santa, the seasonal dark ale from Saint Arnold, while watching your favorite Christmas movies rolling on the big screen. 2pm.
- Alley Theatre presents A Christmas Carol at UH – Follow the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by ghosts of the past, present and future in the Alley Theatre presentation of A Christmas Carol. Tickets range from $25 to $55. 2:30pm.
- Ho Ho Humbug at Studio 101 – New York’s biggest cynic finds himself in the unlikely job of Macy’s Santa Claus. The heartwarming comedy was written by and stars Scott Burkell of Broadway’s Titanic. $25. 3pm and 7:30pm.
- The World of Dreams at Maryam Islamic Center – Dive into the complex world of dreams during this evening at Maryam Islamic Center. $21. 6pm.
- Chocolate Meditation Class at The Woman’s Earth – Reward yourself with some peace, quiet and chocolate at this Chocolate Meditation Class. $10. 6:30pm.
- Alley Theatre presents A Christmas Carol at UH – See Alley Theatre’s final presentation of their classic interpretation of Ebenezer Scrooge’s visit from the ghosts of the past, present and future. Tickets range from $25 to $55; $55 seats are available discounted to $30 for a limited time. 7:30pm.
- Off the Hookah Wednesdays at Tonyc Hookah Lounge | FREE to attend – Celebrate making it halfway through the week at Tonyc Hookah Lounge. No cover until 11:30pm. 9pm.
