Enjoy a live musical showcase, the lighting of the massive Christmas tee in front of City Hall and the holiday fireworks finale on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm.

Mayor Annise Parker welcomes all Houstonians to the free 95th annual Mayor’s Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting spectacular, officially kicking off the Christmas holidays for the City of Houston. In addition to the tree lighting itself and the fireworks finale over City Hall, you’ll find a full program of live musical entertainment and an appearance by Santa Claus himself.

Santa Claus will be in attendance, posing for free photos in a North Pole-themed booth. Mrs. Claus will also be in attendance.

If you bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Salvation Army booth, you’ll receive a light-up Santa hat from Reliant Energy.
