
Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with a delicious “Feast from Oaxaca” lunch buffet at Pico’s Mex-Mex on Upper Kirby on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11am to 3pm.
Mexico’s traditional holiday will be celebrated with a buffet featuring the seven moles of Oaxaca as well as other traditional dishes. The celebration will also offer a Mezcal Tequila tasting that can be purchased with the buffet or separately.
Along with the traditional dishes and tequila tasting, Pico’s is also offering the traditional face painting that is often seen during the festival.
El Dia del Los Muertos is a traditional holiday from Mexico that celebrates those who have passed away. It is part of a festival with roots dating back 4,000 years. The celebration is also noted for fancifully decorated sugar skulls and skeletons.
